Exhausted On New. Permission

Well went on my own today loaded up 2 ferrets and me old spaniel which I have never taken before. So get to the permission and get the kit and off I walk to a bank and a ditch and burys all way around the field so let the dog have a smell about and to my surprise she was marking holes straight away nose in them trying to dig at so put her on the lead as I don't trust her with ferrets yet. Got a couple out of here and just kept moving on really getting one here and there and the bag was getting there then I get to 7 holer netted up and I got 5 from here as I was on my own and the bag was upto 16 now I had to call it a day could not carry much more but had a really enjoyable morning started at just after 7 home by half 12 not bad and pleased with the old dog will try to brake her into the ferrets and then I can leave her loose as I do a bit of ferreting on my own it will be handy to have a dog that can help and only 1 dog good result got some photo but can't them up for some reason
