adam s 32
I was recently approached by a farmer who's sheep I shear and have done previous work for him, he offered me to live on his property of 6 500 acres which I was stoked. Anyway long story short after a two weeks of living on the property I have found lots of active rabbit warrens and loads of rabbits and have only been on half the property so far keen to get the ferrets back out and get the kits started as there is plenty of work ahead, can't wait. pie-eater 377
Need to start cracking on with it after the turn of the year if its mild they will be starting to breed again That whats worrying me. Last week i got a huge shooting estate to ferret been up there 3 times already then today off the back of that i got another big perm. Im very happy ive got new land just wish id got it in Sept/Oct as theres no way i can cover all this land before the rabbits start breeding. Should be good for next season though. Quote Link to post
The one 8,482
That's the thing you can't get on some land till the shootings finished and your expected to make a. Good job and produce numbers to be allowed back next season 1 Quote Link to post
adam s 32
They are still breeding over here at the moment, so I am mainly shooting them occasionally I take the ferrets out so they can stretch their legs, usually go very early in the morning to beat the heat as its been ridiculous and summers only just started.
