redhob 0 Posted December 14, 2013 Report Share Posted December 14, 2013 hi any tips on snaring winter barley,pads run along the ditch about 18ins wide none seem to go out into field that i can make out.the pats along the ditches are so close to one an other most have dropings on them my snares are not even disturbed,grass fields other side of ditch on 21/2 sides.cant shoot at night to many houses,cant ferret ditches,thick brambles.what would the experts do,im ready for running.redhob Quote Link to post

redhob 0 Posted December 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted December 20, 2013 think i know whats wrong, farmer tells me he has sprayed a rabbit repelant on this field a week before i set snares diden know there was such a thing lasts 12 weeks,its like pulling teeth trying to get info from a farmer,other side of ditch where rabbits are he doesent own.pitey i haden this fourm 30 years ago on rabbit snaring i was taught the wong way too keep up the good work redhob Quote Link to post
