robsharpe 1 Posted January 2, 2005 Report Share Posted January 2, 2005 its been a while since i have been out with the wires due to varoius reasons so i had a couple of days spare to get some more practice in ,again you cant pic the weather for what you want i had the wind ,didnt want rain sleet or snow but thats the luck of the draw ,this first pic was one of the downpours putting out the wires thoughts going thru yer mind what am i doing here do i just put a few then off, it lightened up a bit before another storm so got a few down before its time to return home .up a first light next morning we had inch and half of snow and ice to scrape of ,i thought the wires would be empty but the farm is at a lower level with nothing there only wet fields any way i caught 6 ,1 fox eaten so thats 7 ,i had 3 bumped wires even at 6and half inchs in flatish stubble was still too low ,but the bug is still there and it gets to you outwitting them conies til the next one cheers rob ps caught this one with no lugs at all ,he has got no luck Quote Link to post
