Used to go to party's in Blackburn back in 1989 , quady park. In Liverpool happy fcuking days they were lol

 

What was that club called in Blackburn?? Was it Monroes?? Great nights in there watching Joe rakis dance with Karate moves pmsl

the place I first went to in Blackburn was called the red Parrott , in a shit hole of a housing estate , the follow the Standish hire van up to a big empty warehouse lol

spiral tribe are still going, they've got a rig and floating around Europe putting on partys and getting off there nuts, they had a do in London earlier on this year! we had arranged to go but it all went tits up. check them out on Facebook

I remember the pier, wasn't as good as maximes allnighters or cricketer that was a proper shit hole but had some good times.

I was stood outside once and a life size mac ds drink walked past smoking a fag and said alright lads. I looked at my mate and said yep I seen that wtf, we both stood thinking we were tripping our nuts off until the bouncer clocked us laughing and told us its fancy dress on boxing night round wigan.

me and my mates would pop a tablet each after a few pints then jump a taxi into town to the nearest gay bar get a bottle of rush each and start sniffing it so the E would come on quicker we were mashed entering the club

Remember seeing people with Vic's vapour inhalers at one point :laugh: :

 

Also dust masks with Olbas oil rubbed onto the inside! lol

 

It was all going well until shite pills & cocaine killed it all...........in the early days 1 pill would keep you going all night....

People thought the drop in price from £15+ down to a few quid was about supply............it wasn't......it was just a reflection of quality

Went to a few dreamscape s had the multi packs of tapes along with helterskelter ratpack and the like. Then got into the illegal raves spent many a hour riding around back roads looking for the convoys awesome memories of watching the sun comes up on the east coast buzzing like feck moshing around to mad gamma lol from that then got into hard house used like going to see Lisa pin up easy on the eye and played a awesome set few mitzy turbos and the odd flat liner if you could get them and the good old strawberry boot lace liquorice. Covered in speed in the club. Oh they were the days lol

I spent alot (too much) time through the early 90's at free festivals and parties all over, never into clubs really just the great out doors events or warehouses which were FREE...Circus Warp, DIY, Bedlam and of course Spiral Tribe as a few of my mates all lived with the Spiral lot.. Put on a fair few events myself with a few rogues, then ran club nights for 3 or 4 years...great times.

Summer of 92 it all went mad, Letchlade festival in early May was huge and then a few weeks after Castlemorton Common with 35'000 other nutters it kind of all went tit's up after than BUT WHAT A PARTY ...and the Criminal Justice Bill was conceived by the Government.

Great buzz travelling in convoys to go god knows where, did 12 hours driving once and ended up in Rhayader in the Black Mountains, Wales at 7am in the morning. party was still going strong :thumbs:

 

Cant bear the music now, but have some great memories

Anyone ever go to any hippy site raves then?,lived on a few party sites in and around Northamton and would put on a party/rave most saturday nights.Hard going to be honest but some of the best days of my life,first started going to a club in London late 80's eary 90's for the first raves as it were at Heaven as i knew one of the dj's and we'd turn up in wellies,babrour coats and dreadlocks and get on the dance floor making shapes

 

Oh yes, mainly sites throughout the south of england. But a few mates were up the midlands way, horsey lot. Always used to make me laugh at the cross section of people at some parties, hippy travellers, cheesy quavers, old punks, yardies, kids and loads of dags
