I was thinking head neck shots on the rabbits that were hopping between holes I wouldn't attempt a shot on a rabbit thats running.

Don't worry about this bunch of window lickers mate, I know exactly what you mean. We get it bushing to, rabbits that instead of running, try to sneak slowly away through cover or for ouch down and sit tight in cover for a few seconds. As long as no dog or ferret is in the line of fire, it can be very effective, often head shots from only a few feet.

Like i was saying to bpr, if someone else put it on i would be skeptical because ive tried it myself and its bloody difficult, and even impossible i thought ha, but this thread made me try today, and luck was on my side as the first bolt produced a hopper. Plus i had a witness from a member on here. I was smiling from ear to ear. And my mate who was with us couldnt believe it either when he saw me pull the shot off. Very much doubt i will pull a shot off like that again, i just found it strange how you put this thread up just yesterday, then i thought it impossible to do unless a miracle happened. Then i went and did just that today, and with the first bolt of the day! Lol

I can try but i doubt it will ever happen again lol,

I dont do much with the nets more with the bird which makes any shot an unsafe one when hes up in the tree, providing theres no chances of richottes and were using the nets then i probably would.
