Karen. If you want to breed pets, please forget it. There are literally thousands of 'pets' in rescues and being put down all the time. The odds are your pups will not find a home and/or will end up like that. You might find two or three friends or relatives to take one but your bitch might have up to twelve pups. Also, rearing a litter properly can be extremely expensive, that is without vet expenses if something goes wrong with your bitch at any point. If you want to breed workers, serious dog men will not even come and see your pups because the only bitches worth breeding from have a long record of proven success in their field and have the right working parents and grand-parents themselves. Enjoy your bitch if she is what you want and works well for you. We can't all have world beaters but we can all learn. ATB.

Don't know why people have to be so snarkey over things - didn't buy her with the plan of breeding but have had a few people ask me if I would and was hoping for some constructive advice - I.e. is there much of a market for lurchers at the moment!?
