TOMO 26,435
Depends on a few things,,,, how long your lamping,,, and the size of your bulb in the lamp,,,my 170 has the hundred wat bulb in it,,that's comes with it from new,,,, I also have the 14 amp lithium ,,, Now when I'm lamping with the dog up the dales,, I get around 3 hours with the 14 amp lithium,,, so I have the 10 amp with me as well,,, wich I get around 2 hours,,, Get yourself the 22,,, there's not a lot of difference in weight,,,, and carry a small torch for opening gates ,,, gutting ect ect Quote Link to post

fez 4
I've got tracer 170 with dimmer and 14 amp lithium and is plenty for me ,I only charge it after 2 lamping trips. You should get 7.9 hours lamping of one charge and its a nice size. Cheers Quote Link to post
C Hall 552
75 watt bulb comes in the variable blitz as standard? Quote Link to post
stabba 10,745
Yeah 22 ah if you can afford .. We done pretty much what Tomo done up dales using a smaller torch for gutting etc depends if u go to blitz ull get about 3 hours from 22 ah aswell How you work that out?? the blitz fitted with a 100w bulb uses exactly the same power drain as the striker fitted with the 100w bulb...so if you get 3 hours with the 14amp then you should get roughly 35% more lamp time out of the 22amp...the blitz and the striker are exactly the same wattage..just different sized heads 1 Quote Link to post

fez 4
A 75watt drains 6amps an hour but the 100watt drains 8amps an hour. Quote Link to post

And has anyone got a link for 50 watt bulbs for Lightforce lamps? Cheers Yes you can..Some even use the 30w just for rabbiting...Either go online(ebay) and type in Osram 50w bulb or just visit any shooters shop and they should stock them Quote Link to post
