Zastava 222

Ive just been looking at a zastava 222 im thinking of buying but dont know much about the make has anybody used one or had one what are they like ?

I know very little if I'm honest except I believe they are Serbian, not many in the UK.

I was looking at one in a local shop not long back and ended up chatting to a keeper who has one in .270 and he said it was a very good rifle, accurate and well made, very similar quality to CZ and if its a .222 it will be spit accurate, they always are mate. And I do know a bit about their shotguns, they are pretty good never owned one but borrowed one once and quite liked it.

Dont think you will go wrong there mate, they are an exact Mauser k98 copy so the action is well proven, go for it, you could always have a trigger job done and have it glass bedded, for a nominal fee, as they are cheap enough to buy and spend a bob or two on, good choice on .222 mate, brilliant calibre.
