OldTrapCollector 377
Good shooting, especially that second group, which shows the rifle is holding tight patterns and the bore is good. OTC Quote Link to post
weejohn 3
thats second group is really good, i think tikka rifles are great for the price just like the cz's i have a 22-250 and it loves the federals, i get the same zero no matter if i use 40gr, 50gr or even the 55gr, they all group within a 5p piece. SNAP SHOT 194
i usually run in one shot clean, one shot clean for about 35 to 40 rounds, slow but good you'd need to give it a good clean at 5 shots i'd say with more than a snake. Quote Link to post

dead ive 0
ya snapshot i pull a snake bore with abit of oil every 5 shot fired if thats a right way.sounder I would refrain from putting ANY oil in the bore unless the rifle is'nt to be used for some time and even then I'd use a degreaser or some form of solvent to remove it first .Oil cause excessive pressure in the bore of the rifle . That second group is as good as any homeload .I'm even more amazed that you achived this with Powershok SP Ammo. Edited September 16, 2007 by dead ive Quote Link to post

After a box of 20 simply use a copper removal solvent like Butches bore shine and push a bronze brush thru 20 times followed by a Jag and patches . Advisable to use a bore guide as well .
