Feeding Lead Shot Pheasants

Given my ferrets shot game almost daily. Good luck trying to get the dog to eat pheasant only one of my lot will. The rest will leave it in there bowl. Atb

feed to well lol my lurcher pup is fussy to and will never eat brown breed for some reason and on the other hand ive a German pointer pup that will eat everything she can get and as much as she can the greedy fxxker

To be fair mine never leave any food but had a good days rough shooting not long back gave them some carcases and like i say only the white dog ate it the rest just ignored it. Mates dog wont eat any meat at all lol ao could be worse. Atb Edited by fitchet

I remember as a kid when i went to the toilet round my grandparents and relatives who ate lots of shot game there was always lead shot in the bottom of the bog, and none of them died of lead poisoning so i dont think it would do your dog much harm.
