Craig83 52
Does any one know much about these scopes? Iv just one off a certain bidding site on impulse for my .17 HMR at a good price. It's a 6x42, kind of worried it's not going to be good for low light stuff at up to 100 yards only now.
coldweld 65
Doctor optics is the east German Zeiss factory in Jena . It will out perform your HMR with ease
Craig83 52
Even for lamping or last light shooting buddy?
fireblade_rrw 20
Awesome glass. I've been using them for years and its up there with Zeiss & Swaro. Unfortunately the cost has now caught up with the quality! I would say however if its specifically for low light, then go for a 56mm. 42mm isn't the best for low light. Craig83 52
It cost me £130 and the quality is unreal. Yet iv not used it for lamping yet. I'm going to get a .22wmr and bang a second hand 8x56 on it for low light iv decided.
Craig83 52
Went out last night with the Docter, for low light it's brilliant. For the range and stuff I'm doing it is brilliant quality. Really snapped a bargain up here

I sold an 8x42 years ago for £450. & it had marks in the optics!
