TaylorF457 10
Went out last night and gave the dog a few runs wasn't long slips either and she didn't eat and grass or food before going out however when she went back on the lead she started to give a small coughing sort of motion as well as acting as if she was going to be sick. Any one know what this may be??

Moll. 1,770
Sounds like this Taylor.... http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/308321-coughs-after-hard-runs/ Ive found it usually happens with dogs not up to full fitness, or do or die type dogs after a very long run. Never found it anything to worry about although it can be quite worrying when you first hear/see it

Some dogs that have a grueller in cold weather seem to get a cough, and I have had one years ago that used to whollop down water(even though I would try and stop him) then throw it back up. TaylorF457 10
she is okay after a few runs then a few minutes later she will start to do it but the following day she's back to normal so your probably right it might be her fitness. Time to break out the push bike
