try this,just do it with both ends without the loop.

I GOT ONE JUST RECENTLY FROM MORRISONS SUPER MAKET. THEY HAD A LITTLE STAND AT THE END OF ONE OF THE ISLES WITH SEWING EQUPTEMENT , PACS OF NEEDLES ECT.

 

ONE OF THESE MULTI PACS HAD ALL TYPES OF NEEDLES , SOME BIG CURVED ONE FOR LEATHER WORK . ABOUT 8-10 ASORTED NEEDLES . 1 OF THE NEEDLES WAS A BODKIN .
