Ideation 8,216
I'm just loading and driving mate, too rich for my blood. Never been though and it sounds pretty good, be nice to see the set up Quote Link to post
TheBrock 11
One of the best shoots in the country mate you will have a cracking day, let us know how you get on Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Sounds good. . . One wee worry I have, is that i've just been told its single gun, and i'm the loader. Now double gun is ok, i get that, but how does it work with a single gun? Help. I don't want to make a prat of myself! Quote Link to post
TheBrock 11
Easy mate, your gun will shoot, break the gun and turn to you, then just chuck more cartridges in! Stand on the peg and don't move mate make the gun turn to you don't chase them about! You should see bit more of the shooting single gunning as well Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
This is going to sound stupid, but how do I hold the cartridges for the most efficient loading. . . . i don't want to fumble and drop the bloody things! I'd rather it was double guns, as long as the rhythm is ok, the loading is easier. . . . . Quote Link to post
TheBrock 11
I just have one in each hand mate then its easy to drop a single cartridge in if they only fire one shot, its easier than double gunning Quote Link to post
Lab 10,979
Much easier than double gunning. Your a 'stuffer' for the day....? 2 Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Hadn't thought about having both hands free. I guess double gunning seems easier because your hands are on the gun and the carts, where as i'm worried about a stumble . . . i'm sure it will be fine. Was as Ashcombe last week. Quote Link to post
Lab 10,979
Only thing you need to find out is what side he is going to eject the cartridges and you need to be on that side. Right hand shooter then probably on his right shoulder then. Quote Link to post
TheBrock 11
Its easy mate let us know how you get on Quote Link to post
