deerdogs 418
Anyone ever experience a dog of this breeding? just seen a cocker x beddie online and wondered if anyone had seen/owned or worked a springer or cocker cross beddie as a bushing dog. Im not after buying one or anything just a genuine interest in what a dog of this breeding could do in the field Quote Link to post
jayjay 264
a mate of mine had a dog of this cross years ago, and fairplay it would hunt and bush for fun, it didn't take a lot to get him going either if I remember right......., he just seemed a natural to the game, good marking dog aswell, all the best, jay. deerdogs 418
as stated im not interested in buying any dogs in, and wont be in the situation where i could anytime soon, just after peoples opinions/ experiences of them working in the field Quote Link to post
jambay5 191
i think both dog have there strong points but my own opinion is that if i was going to pay £250 for a cross breed!! would sooner get either a pure beddy or spaniel!! if the cross bred pups where under £100 i would consider taking a punt!! 1 Quote Link to post

Totally agree I been done with adult dogs off there but I think a pup is what you make them I've got a bull/whippet that will put some spaniels to shame not what she was bred for but it's now what she does best lol.
