Why are people on this thread being critical of a professional being motivated by money? The fight for money.   I only go to work for the money.   Fighting for pride, taking a beating to prove hi

Hea a gobshite always ran it of about calzaghe .froch couldnt lace joes boots

Mmm I think I'll wait until I see who he picks to fight next before I pass judgment. .   I can understand why he'd wanna go elsewhere, especially if he's thinking it could be his last.   I've gon

Froch is telling everyone that there minds are changing as time goes by and demand for a rematch with groves is waining. Or is that just what froch has told himself ? Personly would like to see the rematch.

I think he`ll retire this just about sums up my thoughts -----http://www.givemesport.com/409358-carl-froch-should-retire-at-the-top

that's a good way of going about getting a rematch ----straight after the fight groves starts slagging froch ---------clever :hmm:froch on the other hand wants a rematch with ward and shows the man respect great champion --best in the world I`d love to fight the best------------- blah blah blah sometimes you have to make the right noises ..........

Focussing on the best fighter out there is a clever way of avoiding your closest rival Stig thats how its always been its nothing new........calling Froch a bottler is just ridiculous......but promoters are not silly people,if he only has 1 fight left and public demand is enough Groves might be the only fight out there for him.

see what your saying gnash ----- I honestly think he wont fight again and we`ll see him on some tv show sooner than in the ring ----i`d love to see him fight groves again but next years a busy year sporting wise talk is that a groves rematch stadium fight wouldn't take place till sept and i don't think frochs got that long ----if he fights on it will be april time but who knows froch might win his next fight then carry till sept ...

This is where i like to keep faith in my fellow man Stig......being the competitor he is i think that Groves fight wont sit comfortably with him......not the outcome but the fight itself......Froch is a true competitor and having watched it back he wont be able to stop himself picking out things he did wrong, things he could improve on,mistakes he made etc.........its just a natural urge thats within a fighter of his gutsy make up i dont think he will be able to resist a rematch forget money and titles........ " its just a fight between 2 men " is a beautiful attitude for a fighter to have and he has it.

I only go to work for the money.

Fighting for pride, taking a beating to prove his gameness won't pay an ex pros bills 20 years after he's retired. Pats on the back and "you were a great battler" won't feed kids or impress a bank.

An old Pro like Froch better cash in fast.

very well said Bryan

although they may love the fight as im sure carl froch does, they also do it for the coin. a fighters career is relativly sort compared to a normal working man and they have to make what they can when they can.

personaly i think the big money will be in las vegas but it will also a big payday for a rematch with groves. what ever way he goes im of the oppinion that it will be his last fight and who can blame him. he has had a very good career
