WILF 46,544
I think you miss my point, I am not saying dont have it on the news for 5 mins, or a small mention in a newspaper, but I will reiterate, the man was not a saint, or a demonstrable figure of world peace,he was a murderer, be that by his own hand or by his direction to others, you cannot deny that! so it makes me sick, as it clearly does to others, that he is being remembered by every person that wants a bit of limelight, as a jolly old stick, who fought against the oppression of the evil whites. I wonder how many IRA terrorists will be lauded in similar fashion in years to come? Or perhaps the leader of the black panthers ect, I am sure we could compile quite a list. Yes I agree, but people have very good opions on there, do they know what it wa like to live in SA, did they used to hear about how people were treated during the apartheid years. It is very easy to form opinions with one side of the story. How many South Africans are not upset about his death? A lad I know who serves in the British army with one of the elite units, has seen a few tours , this lad is South African (white)......his old man served with RLI and is a bit of a legend with 18 operational jumps into Angola under his belt Anyway, the South African lad is best pals with one of my best pals in the same reg, sent him a one word text this morning.......it simply said " terrorist " I don't think he shares your sentiment !! I should think the people who's family members were killed whilst shopping or going about their business would be rejoicing. Do you not know anyone that was affected by his acts of violence or terrorism? Do you believe that the end justified the means? I'm sure that they Islamic terrorists that bombed London or flew planes into the World Trade Centre believed that they were fighting towards removing western powers and making the whole world an Islamic state. It don't make them anything other than cowardly scumbags though. That prick Mandela had close ties with Gaddafi and plenty of stolen Lybian cash was given to the ANC. So much for fighting oppression. You should get out of Devon and open your eyes instead of telling people to shut their mouths.
clipo 871
99% of the people who die every year will only have a handful of people crying and a few more saying RIP. Nelson mandela is a name known in every household in the world from the whitehouse in america to the slums in kenya! Makes you tbink how insignificant you are in the great wide world! tandors 888
Well if islam takes over britain and michael adebolajo is prime minister will he be held in such high regard as a freedom fighter and breaking down barriers. It astonishes me how many white people take all of their knowledge and opinions from our biased media.

Regardless of what he achieved after prison his actions beforehand shouldn't be glossed over as seems everyone is doing. I've seen people claiming he should be handed a Sainthood?! Truly f***ing mental.
