low plains drifter 10,696
I've heard from two different shooting lads that have seen around six hundred hares shot in one day on a couple of recent shoots, I wonder how many years the waterloo cup would take to match a tally like that, the hunting act has to be the work of geniuses, anyone been locked up for mouse hunting yet ? 2 Quote Link to post

low plains drifter 10,696
It would be an ugly sight to see all them bodies lined out that's for sure, shame they couldn't have long netted a few of them and restocked some other land Quote Link to post
TheDeal 63
Local to me you might find 1 hare in the odd field daytime but last night on lamp the 2 fields at the back of me had 3 or 4 in each field Quote Link to post
moonlighter 1,164
Most farms round stickney have a hare shoot every 3 or 4 years. They get big numbers. Plus the rifle boys are getting £3 each so they can get 30/40 a night. Quote Link to post
