Just dont understand why you would of gone down Denbigh Rd.....unless you met your coach at Newham General did you ...and it was coming back up ....I take it you wasnt with an official club coach ?.....anyway......yep its a bit of a grim area and thats the nice part ................you wouldnt of got in any of the pubs around the ground....the Denmark or the Duke of Edinburgh youd be safe but they,re a good 15 mins walk away.......what was you saying about the Boleyn ? You wouldnt of had a cat in hells chance of getting in there its a complete no go area for away fans. What did you think of the facilities in the ground....bit basic eh ......bet they only had 1 bar serving for away fans as well !!.....................And what happened to this noise you reckon your lot make it was like a morgue over in that corner.....the rest of the ground wasnt much better but these are probably the most miserable times i can remember for years..... this silly fat c**t is really testing our loyalties at the moment !! It was the sort of game that a draw was no good to either of us but i do think yous are doomed......and we,ll only stay up by the skin of our teeth if at all. gnasher16 30,046 Posted December 17, 2013 Report Share Posted December 17, 2013 Gnash we were dropped off directley outside ground not far from statue Bus picked us up down that side rd outside TB Stand Instead of turning left it went strait over main rd Down a long st and half way down it got tight thats where i noticed denbigh rd running parrallell across rd we were going down At the bottom of that rd we turned right Gnash we were outside ground for 11'50ish Boleyn Boozer wouldnt let us in so we went to wetherspoons Came out of there about 2'40pm Turned right walked down main drag and turned right into rd where TB stand is Yeah ground bit dated one little bar Bottle of small sprite size bottle of larger 4.20p fooking rip off Pies wernt bad We were sat row d near front pitch level seats 47-48 If we had scored 2nd half kicking towards us we would of been on the pitch lol Ps, we made a tad more noise than your lot You's only piped up once Fair size Black mush outside ground after game started chatting he said he thought we were both going down We kept a good eye on the fooker incase he was going to try plant a sly one I said speak for yourself He just walked away lol Thank fook as the two of us were stood by ourselfs between the buses and the wall outside away end Enjoyed the day and would go back. Max if you say you was there then thats good enough you aint got to explain nothing !.......Theres a lot of things you say that just dont add up but i dont know you well enough to call you a liar and im certainly not out to embarrass folk ......................Its hardly life or death anyway !............. Got to say though.....in 40 odd years going down the Hammers ive never seen a coach allowed to go down Priory Rd plod have that completely sealed as its the first chance of attack if your a Hammers fan....and your that way inclined of course .....anyway f**k all that. As for noise the whole ground is/was a bad atmosphere at the moment so 2 clubs in the same position it wasnt a surprise.......but your lot were like mice,i had one of your fans with me i kept asking him to translate but he couldnt hear anything Definately doomed......think its only once in Premier League history that the bottom club at Xmas has avoided relegation so it dont look good. Back of there is a little outdoor courtyard Maybe 3-4 wood outdoor pub type tables in there White washed flats back right over looking into that pub yard There are two entrances to that yard from the pub Male toilet up stairs first floor Bar on the left as you walk in to the place. If we meet in semis and I go I'll let you know I didn't get tickets for def confirmed till tea time Friday' night before the game. Max your 17 pints in 2 hours ......hard to believe but i,ll buy that ......a coach load of away fans being allowed by police to go into the ground without an escort i find hard to believe but i,ll buy it just out of good will ..........but for crying out loud dont try telling me your coach went down a road that is blocked off by meat wagons full of ol bill and has been for years,you said your coach went down the side of the Trevor Brooking stand......it didnt !......Why do you think groups of away fans get a police escort in and out......its because coaches are not allowed down Priory Rd and thats the only access to the away end now the bus garage has gone........Max was it an official club coach ?......Its not like the old days anymore mate where a group of lads just jump on a coach...police and football intelligence are well organised now they avoid the possibility of big groups of fans clashing at all costs.....especially with our reputation over the years !! The other day you was IN a traffic jam in Denbigh Rd now you went passed the junction.....cracking tool the ol google maps aint it ......sorry mate but your walking into jabs at the moment and its hard to resist !
