Lab 10,979
The ONLY reason CFC allowed Protestant was so they could play at top level in the country I think it was big Jock who was asked..... If there was both a catholic or Protestant on the transfer market which would you buy? He said the Protestant, cos that lot wouldn't sign the catholic Was that no a Scotch and Wry sketch....lol

oneredtrim 148
Max you never used to hardly see a city shirt in manchester till they won the league and utd have never filled the stadium on weekday fixtures due to peoples work commitments fortunatly im self employed so can take the time to go anyday 270 mile round trip The shirt thing is very true dog, Gary cook was the man (head hunted from Nike America) who turned all that around by going back to the local Umbro outfitters and when asked why/how the City shirt phenom had errupted from nowhere he replied 'cause from his station with Nike he had witnessed that shirt sales boom when folk can buy in thier actual measured size, opposed to the latest cult of S/M/L'..they say the devils in the details. That's not to say that was the only reason because the volume of retro shirts sales (post) worn by The City of Manchester and scum on/in the 50th anniversay match was clocked by cook and Umbro were given design clues for follow on kits for a touch of the retro/modern. The same can be said for the memrobilia market, where for a long time only Trafford tackle could be bought and sold and some very important match worn City shirts from the golden age were beiing hawked about for flumpence, different carry-on now though, with a different make-up of clientle entering the market (seen three arab kids in a recent video sat watching the title win in an hotel wearing the original variants of the embassy kit/monkey a pop). The fact City moved into the top 7 world footballing revenue earners just very recently with a projected estimate into the top 4 within the next calendar yr, is not unrelated. blackmaggie 3,376
who are utds most hated rivals is it city /liverpool or leeds because everyone normally has one team but utd fans have different views on the 3 above honest question
gnasher16 30,024
Not all West Ham fans are born supporting them I just spoke to a friend in Devon today He said his mate from down there was off to the game on Saturday as he supports the Hammers SAFC 3/1 he was saying That's a VG price IMO Now your just being silly .....im sure theres the odd West Ham fan in all corners of the country........same as any other club......but in the main this is an area you dont choose what club you support like other parts of London...............if your brought up on the Mile End Rd or one of the estates and you kick a ball about your a West Ham fan thats just the way it is and always has been you dont get a choice in it. gnasher16 30,024
I think you're under the impression you book my appointments Lennie, i'm afraid that's where your propaganda runs out of luck, try not being so desperate with your freebie to the sycophants on here. .....if you wont share a pint and a pie with me youd of cut your own tongue out rather than share one with him !...... It's intresting (nearly) what you fear Gnosher, though i see your thought transference is still a bit previous, you sound like one of them herberts that aint got the bottle to slot someone, historically they usually get themselves something bull bred for no apparent reason other than a thinly disguised long standing love of the breed....then chat greater shit galore in the hope no fucka's noticed. Don't worry, your secrets safe on here. Ps if you could refrain from incorrectly telling folk who commissioned football stadia and who financed such an operation to back up your twisted/unique reasoning then your football chat might just have greater weight, unless of course you was mistaking The Etihad with thier newer feeder-club state of the art ground in Manhatten http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/new-york-city-fc-coach-6395576 PPS... are (av bin?) you a coppers nark, me antennas picking some waves up, you carry your guilt terribly Len....do you know? Every man plays to his own strengths during an argument........id rather look a man in the eye hence my invite to you ........you would rather throw some long words out and act like a cyber psycology student..................thats ok i understand its nice and warm on the internet and you can call people what you like ......theres a word for people like you but i dont know what it is........you having a few o levels im sure you could tell me. gnasher16 30,024
I'd go as far to say of SAFC and Nufc got to the semis of a Cup the powers that be would make sure they met each other to avoid them playing one another in a Final. .........Now you really are going too far ..........Max ive had a million conversations with a million different fans of clubs following England all over the place.......ive never heard anyone talk of the Tyne & Wear derby like you......i dont know if your an impressionable sort of chap or just trying to be loyal to your manor........but i think your going a touch over the top now dont you.
