Peter Leemooch 160 Posted December 21, 2013 Report Share Posted December 21, 2013 i was so curious about all this i asked the lads at work yesterday if any of them went down for the match and 2 of them did they said 7 coaches travelld down and arrived at somewhere called plashet park which is about 15 minutes walk from west ham ground apparently.they had a police escort that went along green street to the trevor brooking stand. both these lads travel regular to away matches and said it is the responsibility of the coach to inform the hone club when they are local so police can greet them away from the ground ready for a escort into the ground they said it can be like a militry operation and police never let away coaches near grounds im not taking sides with anyone just repeating what i was told in old gnashs defence maxhardcore the reason he was inside the ground at 1.30 is because he was treating me my son my brother and my 82 year old dad to a meal in a lounge suite my brother and dad are big mackem fans but not been to a match in years.watching the way gnash treated my dad and the respect he showed him was great they was sat talking for ages even though he could not seem to understand a word he was saying lol in my book excuses him not running up the streets outside like a teenager looking for trouble.thts just my opinion mind 4 Link to post Share on other sites

I know I wouldn't if driving to central London,,, my siste lives in Romford and I use the m11,,,,but that a14 that joins the a1 and m11 can be a fecker for acidents,,, but the a1 goes almost to where you need to be..
