MOLE265 792
Last time I used a locator it was deben the only one on the market at the time it was the late nineties ferret finder went to 6' and terrier locator went to 15' still got my old gray box and two collars haven't got a clue if the box still works but then again 40' box appeals to me as you would locate the terrier a lot quicker got a wee while to think about the right locator that suits me. kabar 14
The 40' terrier locator is way to big to put on a ferret, its three times bigger than the ferret locator about as big as the ferrets head. Quote Link to post
hunting mad 147
ye I realise that mate just did'nt know if the 40ft box would work with the 16ft collar Quote Link to post
Ripstop 89
Crap mate, i nearly lost a terrier when the orange ones came out, deben said its only a guide line, 5.5 foot out isnt a guideline, good job I knew how to find a dog through very dense and soundproof gound. f**k deben, even the lamps are at fault, and the austrlians are cornering the market with their good pieces of kit. Bellman, orto, barryvox etc all all decent, saying goes you cant put a price on a good terrier, 200 for a dben long range, or 200 and odd for a bellman second hand, I know who I would be going with. Get ya hands out pockets and buy your dogs the best you can afford, or go back to a working knocker box. 3 Quote Link to post
