mole catcher 1
This is how i find it east to zero the NV in that i use. set up a nice large back drop of a piece of board about 3ft square and about 6inch in front put a stick with a small apple stuck on top. Through the NV the apple appears as a dark object against the back drop. If you set this up so your shooting level rather than say shooting downwards, its just a matter of having 3 shots going over to the target looking at it level to the line of fire and then you can see by how much to adjust your point of impact. Because NV works by use of gathering the ambiant light its hard to iluminate a target with any light as this will make the target dissearpere. Quote Link to post
mad al 146
I zeroed mine in a shed with all daylight blocked out, large piece of board as a target, rifle & scope in a "workmate" about 20 mtrs away, positioned the workmate until I got a shot on the target and then adjusted from there..............Al Quote Link to post
midnight 657
get a shoe box and put a torch inside it . switch on the torch and gaffa tape the box so it is light tight . make a small hole in the center of the box and aim at it . each shot will make a small hole visibal through the nv scope . adjust to zero . peice of piss. i dont need to tell you to position the torch so it will not be shot and that small peices of double gaffa tape will block out the previouse pellet holes .
