noony2802 8
Hi topper in the end I chose ortovox 3 plus and b and f collar should be here early part of the week Thanks Quote Link to post
TOPPER 1,809
nothing wrong with that my little mate swears by his orthvox d3 but there again he is dutch !!! Quote Link to post
noony2802 8
I like the fact it beeps, plus it was cheaper than red house brick, I don't want to feel tied down to bellman as the man sounded a bit of a @@@@ on the phone, I like the fact it's simple, illuminated screen, etc do hopefully try it Tuesday or Saturday Sunday, Tried my new part dog yesterday out hunting and GD did me proud, we bolted a Charlie with him so I was happy, Quote Link to post
mongoose 39
The warranty isn't worth anything with barryvox, as I've found out myself when mine went wrong, the customer service was crap and they would replace my box when they couldn't fix it and it was only 12 months old.... TOPPER 1,809
well i beg to disagree i sent mine back to barryvox just before xmas to be cleaned out and replace the contacts and serviced it was out of warranty as mine was one of the first one s out but they emailed me the other day total charge 38 euro and it arrived in the post yesterday morning all cleaned up new screen etc at first i thought theyed sent me a new one but mine has a chip out of the bottom and a large deep scratch on the back so they did as asked and more and its as good as new now can t fault them , did you speak to barryvox or one of there agents as ive heard facewest don t want to know any problem s but ive never dealt with them so cant say either way Quote Link to post
mongoose 39
I sent it back through snow and rock, when it came back they wouldn't fix it, I got in touch with barryvox itself and had a fair argument with them as they said water had got in the box so they wouldn't fix it, so I said how can this be with something that is suppose to be used in the snow. Anyway after a fair argument with the person on the phone the best they would do is sell me a new box at a discount price, which I told them where to go. Quote Link to post
