The mull of kintyre was a chinook. That had not gone through the proper tests and had been modified there are currently 12 chinooks laying mothballed Awaiting the out come of a refit programme the raf were without there battle ready squadron and are troops were. Getting Flown in to the front line in unarmed hellos they were offered. Black hawks. The mod refused and waited for pumas there was a big stink over it. No comparison different choppers and different situation the chinook went down in fog with the radar giving false info , pilot era was the call but the investigation.
