Outlaw Pete 2,224
" Powers " ? I replied to a post, directed at me. Hardly an occult practice, is it? Honestly; It's becoming quite clear that this place gets more excited about me than I do about it

They cannot keep from the public. The civil aviation authority and the HSE will investigate it , its not a military aircraft.

antg 1,783
an eyewitness said he was watching the helicopter from a car park and he heard the engine what he said seemed to sputter then it just dropped from the sky. from the way he explained it was coming straight down. no chance of getting it to another spot. very sad for the people who have lost someone but its amazing that theres not dozens killed. i think if it had exploded on impact it would have being a total different outcome in regard to the death toll
scothunter 12,609
shame anyway; few famlies christmas ruined, prob for the rest of thier lifes. it just one of they things.although i agree with GTE no business buzzing about a busy built up area.keep them for missing people and cases where a chopper is needed think the fact it didnt explode, might have been a saving by the pilot. dont pilots of planes if know there gonna crash shut of the fuel system.granted it dont lways stop a plane from exploding but not in all cases. nothernlite 18,089
Maybe it ran out of fuel

Civil aviation authority and the HSE don't hide things The investigate every thing , as for it running out of fuel i doubt that very much , helicopter pilots train for emergency landings routinely. They glide them , this is tragic. Let them do there job people have died and need answers before the blame culture starts i still have faith in the aurthoritys. To carry out investigations in this sort of matter
The Seeker 3,048
The fact that it didn't catch fire is unlikely to do with the pilot, the last thing they would do in an engine failure is turn off the fuel, I doubt they would have ad time to even if they wanted to I reckon at the height they fly there would only have been about 10 seconds before it hit the ground. These aircraft are reliable and have twin engines incase of engine failure. My guess with the fact it didn't catch fire is a serious error with fuelling. RIP to all
