Who Owns Hares..landowner Or Club.

Killed a hare the other day...in the north part of ireland on permission so perfectly legal.So anyway its got a tag on 1 ear and a green spray colour in th other ear.th mate was saying it must be from a coursing meet but theres no coursing meets in the north anymore :hmm: somebody was saying on another thread b/mena coursing club lends sligo club hares for their meet anybody know.

It's illegal to net hares for the use of coursing in the north even if they are taking them across the border , you sure it wasn't one of them hares they've been studying :laugh:

No one can own them as they are a wild animal, but its up to the land owner who can take them that's if he has not sold the sporting rights then its the person who has the sporting rights....well that's has I see it..

i walked for 4 hours today in a spot I always get at least half a dozen hares to rise..........not 1 to be seen.found out the fukin coursin club neted the lot of them over the last 2 weeks.land owner told me.the b*****ds have the land raped.they seem to have the right to just take whatever when ever they want but if we get seen taking one theres a chance the tyres,windscreen is damaged.its complete bullshit.
