Haggis81 147
Do you guys use the foam flying decoy on magnet then change them for real birds? Do you think its best at the head of the decoy pattern? I have been finding its not really helping my numbers Quote Link to post
tsteve9999 456
For me it's dead birds every time, though a couple of guys I know only use hyperflaps with great results. These guys are top shots though, much better than me, and tend to hit birds at much longer ranges. I need birds to come in closer and dead birds seem to help. Quote Link to post
mjr88 50
I too use Hypa flaps when I go pigeon decoying, although I'm not a great shot, If there are any pigeons passing these decoys will certainly draw them in due to their realistic wing flapping movement. Also, the Hypa flaps are so light, that I find the battery on my pigeon magnet lasts longer than when I use shot birds, John http://www.ukshootwarehouse.com/pigeon-hypa-flap-sillosock-single Edited November 29, 2013 by mjr88 Quote Link to post

Continental Shooter 2
Some swear by those hypa, I had mixed experience. On their day they are better than real ones but on certain days you'd better take them off and wait for the real ones as they scare the sh*t out of them 1 Quote Link to post

On a good day they are excellent, and on a bad day they scare the pigeons off 2 Quote Link to post

Windage!! 6
I find if the magnet is spinning to fast it can scare off the pigeons so try slowing it down and it saves the on the batterie time Quote Link to post
