gurtwurz 792
Hi mate, and welcome to the loonybin... First off, if you're really new to it all, get yourself down to a club or range and get your eye in, you're best off leaving the live stuff alone until you're capable of shooting to within an inch sized target at whatever ranges you're gonna be hunting at. Keep your ranges realistic initially, ie under 40 yds and you'll be fine. Don't go shooting live quarry till you're capable of killing it cleanly though, cos injuring animals due to poor preparation is a no no. You've chosen a damn good gun to start with though, so get out there and get to know it! All the very best wishes with your future sport, wurz 3 Quote Link to post

bigmac 97kt 13,806
I agree with Gurtwurz don't shoot live query until you can do it cleanly ,shooting an air rifle is so different to shooting a bullet gun you may of been a top shot with a 50cal sniper rifle in the army but shooting an air rifle will come back and bite you in the ass its an unforgiving weapon but if you master it its one of the most rewording weapons you will ever fire go to the range and ill bet that you will get a shock when you fire a hw97kt but when you master it you will find that you will love it and it is one of the best that money can buy atvb and good luck, mac  2 Quote Link to post
andy97 209
if i were you mate id get a ultra or a s200 multi shot done the springer thing and think there nwere near the pcp your gunna have to mess about stripping tuning relubing straight out the box just to get rid of the twang and for the same money you could get a good pcp kit Quote Link to post
Dawson460 0
see ive had both pcp and springers just never had me self an underloader that was the main reason i wanted one hear some good things about them. Quote Link to post
