LiamHiggs 14
Hi all. I've recently bought myself a second hand HW100ks .177 and a new 3ltr faber Cylinders divers bottle to go with it from my local gun shop, now im having a few teething problems when its come to filling the up the gun, I was shown the correct way to fill it and you'd have to be a idiot to get that wrong but the problem i'm having is the gun wont fill up past 190bar. i connect the nozzle and start filling really slowly and it just stops at 190 even if i open the valve more it dosent move. The only thing i could think of its that the bottle hasent enough pressure in it? Has anyone eles found this with theirs or is this just normal. im hoping that im reading the gauge wrong and it is actually pointing at 200bar 1 other thing ive found is that the action seem to move slightly in the stock, i dont think this is causing any problems because ive been shooting pellet on pellet at 25 yrds for about 2 hours this afternoon (what a gun this is) but its going to drive me crazy! the bolts are tight!!! I dont want to be messing with its really so im gunna take it back to the shop this saturday for him to have a just look but im hoping someone can put my mind at ease in the mean time. Thanks for reading atb Liam ps any other advise about pcps welcome! Quote Link to post

moxy 617
Just as villaman said liam. If you want to have a check and pop some more air in then give me a ring and land up Quote Link to post
DIVERD 34
Those small gauges are really inaccurate, and are really just a guide to the pressure. You will have about 190 bar, and both gauges may be slightly out. it is not a worry however and the gauges are accurate enough for air gun use 1 Quote Link to post
LiamHiggs 14
I've tightened the screws as much as I dare but still slight movement, as for bottle I've only refilled 6-7 times so I will be asking to swap it for a bigger 1 on Saturday, if that's how it works? Al give you a ring tomorrow mick al pop up for a brew Quote Link to post

From a 3L you will only get so many fills before the pressure runs low and equalizes and as said, the gauges are not that accurate. As for the stock feeling loose, the front clamp is designed to have a little "give" as it holds the action on o rings. Bring it up. Quote Link to post
risingfriend 1,042
Is the tank a 232 or 300bar 3lt mate? if you are gonna get another bottle then a 300 bar will be miles better going from the fill i would say you have the 232 so the 300 3 lt would be more than double that Quote Link to post
