stroller 341
My young Vizsla is very inconsistent with retrieving shot game, sometimes no bother at all sometimes throwing it about like a toy. Anybody any ideas? Quote Link to post

andy97 209
i got mine retrieving everything by throwing game for him in the garden rabbits ,pheasant ,pidgeon what ever he going to be picking up mate do this instead of the dummy you soon wont have any problems Quote Link to post
buggsbunny 4
Try teaching him to hold dummy's on command!! Put the dummy in his mouth telling him to hold it!! Just a few seconds then gradually increase the time until u can walk him on his lead and he is holding the dummy without chomping!!! Then when it comes to game if you can seen he is going to play up just give the command hold it!! It worked for me in the past. Quote Link to post
