moonlighter 1,164
I don't use a collar, but for the guy who's dog got caught on barb wire, I don't understand how you dog got injured?? You said it was jumping over it but its collar got caught.... Must have a strange jumping style or it ran straight into it. Quote Link to post
snatchbullet 55
i use collars. it may have a very small chance of increasing injury but comes in so handy.just slip a rope around its neck. i would love too see you do that some times when needing to restrain a dog and its all kicking off. each to there own. might not use one if was out only for rabbits but need to hold on sometimes ; ) Quote Link to post

Would you say that people shouldn't run there dogs around trees? I'll still stand by my post. 2 Quote Link to post
zx12edge 1,001
My mates dog got hung up on a branch a couple of months ago while he was out with me was lucky it had one of those fabric type collars on, snapped the collar of its neck. Reckon if it had been leather it would have been a goner. Quote Link to post
