perthshire keeper 1,239 Posted November 25, 2013 Report Share Posted November 25, 2013 not a stupid question....i know lads who take every thing bar the sink. ive seen me take dog,knocker box spade and gun...and have a good day..then also seen me take 2 dogs 12 hounds 3 guys spades bars,stakes,whip,horn,nets,probe torch batteries,flask and food, and med kit for dogs and men! but if ime going on a standard digging day ile take stake nets spade and bullnose box and spare batteries tourch phone but the most inportand thing is a good freind! and in the van ile have all kinds of cool funky digging tools! and a few lads for back up if it gets a bit heavy going Quote Link to post

You can only learn so much off the internet dont know anyone/ theres only me and my brother that are into hunting with lurchers out my way im going to tag alone on a local hunt one of the days and see how its done if they will have me but theres not many lads that want a 15 year old hanging around like a tool!! i know my stuff when it comes to lamping with my lurchers but it the terriers that will really test me! anyway ive time to learn early days yet not even got a terrier yet! but next season im thinking about getting into the digging game Quote Link to post
