bugger all rabbits again this year, the few that survived last year have been hammered by the ridiculous numbers of foxes round here. as for hares, never loads round here but always the odd one or two, and i would say their numbers are about the same as they have been or maybe just down a little. funny enough though i have seen a few in places i havent seen for 15-20 years

feck all about near us anymore the rifle boys have been out and shot the lot, some bloke had 24 the other night really pished me off

See a hare on the side of the road (road kill) the other day first I have seen for a long time, I'm only out in the day at the mo though so can only hope there doing well. Love to see them, I always think its a shame to hear about them being shot in big numbers. Couple of the farmers I know like them all shot to keep the muppets off due to problems over the years.

Same here mate can't understand it,,, often you would see 20, 30 rabbits running in on the horse field at the side of my house,,, there's just odd ones round abouts here at the mo,,s ,, hares as well,,, I have to really search for them

just odd isolated pockets of rabbits and very few hares, i think the buzzards are clearing up the rabbits in conjunction with mitsy.

 

very few rabbits round me an every tall tree seems to have a buzzard about it

 

mixi has had an impact on rabbits near me but the hares are everywhere pitty ive no dog for them wouldnt even boder trying with whippetxhahaha

I was watching 6 red kites and 4 buzzards circling above my house this afternoon ......

there as rare as badgers

I have got three badger sets within a half kilometre of my house ... One of them 50 meters away .......

 

theres one out the back of my house lol and then two more up the back field hate them tho can run rabbits up there becuse of them...
