A Big Thank You ...

Recommended Posts

Thought i'd put a post up thanking a few people .

As one or two of you will know i had my works van done over about seven weeks ago, along with about two grands worth of tools most of my shooting gear was stolen as-well. Not a pretty site seeing your van doors open at 4 in the morning and lots of empty spaces where power tools should be :censored::censored: . As luck would have it they must of been on foot because there was another three grands worth stacked up ready to go not including the heavy gear.

My shooting gear most of it under my avatar plus extras totaling two and a half grand :cray: as mentioned earlier also going awol.

I got on to the insurance company and they said tools not covered :censored::censored::censored: as i would need a separate policy but would consider my shooting gear .To cut a long story short I've just had confirmation to say a cheque is on the way :toast::toast: now it wont cover every thing but will be a big help to going towards most of the things that went missing  .

Id like to thank a couple of companies that sent out duplicate receipts MTC Optics , many thanks Sammy and Rowan Engineering , Paul your a star .

Many thanks "landrover" and "bunnybasher" on another forum . not forgetting Allan from south Yorkshire (user name) eludes me :icon_redface::thumbs:

To all the lads that have offered gear to lend THANK YOU VERY MUCH :notworthy::notworthy::notworthy:

you know who you are

And lastly id like to thank davyt63 for all his help and to my former shooting buddy (hft) Lighthunter Chas for the lend of the S510 and all the bits to which looks to be a keeper :toast::toast::thumbs: .

P.S my apologies if I've missed anyone

Its awful mate , over the years I have had my van broken into about 4 times taking all my power tools and hand tools the one which you have built up over the years and you cant get any more. Had my tipping trailer nicked with the petrol mixer on and plastering tools ,then got another one all locked in the garage and trail locked they had that 8 weeks later with a load of tools on .All in all about over the years its about £ 12000 worth of kit taken and we live in a very ,very nice area . F**KING SCUM and the police came out 4 days later to see what has happened and what a joke they are .

The "family" has come together at time of need. As for insurance companies the b*****ds are quick enough in saying what you want to hear when they are trying to get your signature, but when you want to make a claim they now say "oh no thats not covered". It's not covered under your policy because it was at night time. Or "sorry thats not covered" because the van was broken in on a night when the moon was full, b*****ds. If you need anything (night vision) mine is yours if you want it, as is anything else you want. You are welcome to have my wife, she could done your housework or clean your van out. So as i said the offer for the wife is there just take her PLEASE lol. Anything you want from me just take it mate.
