Now then , new recruit in the ranks of the SkEvVo army..

to go with its 3 german stablemates.

 

needs a bit of work- theres a few rust spots on the exterior .. and the steel cylinder has a bit of black rust/pitting on it. guessing the wire wool/wet and dry will easily sort it out, when I strip it over the weekend. stock is near enough mint. has a hawke airmax 2-7x32 Ao fitted .. which I might sell yet not sure.

 

bit of a mini project anyways.

 

so with out further a do.. my 5th rifle of this model.. its in .22 cal...

The spring in my 97k was that bad to Skot , I ended up fitting a service kit from Tony at sfs it consisted of new spring delrin spring guide and top hat and lubes think it was about £4O but not sure it shoots much better now

the tune money for the 77 went on, buying the 97 lol

 

don't need my 77 or 97 tuning to be honest. there only plinkers..

 

got my tuned 98 that I got off rob/porkybella to use for competitions etc. and got the hw100 as a main hunting rifle.

 

maybe I will get the 77 and/or 97 tuned one day. but not any time soon.

 

the 77 is twangy but feck me its just as accurate as the 98, at least, it is at 34 yards. haven't took it further than that yet.

might put the sport hd on the 97 and put the irons back on the 77

 

the 3 test shots I fired with the 97 seemed great, looks like its had a fair few pellets through and is bedded in nice, didn't twang.

 

just finished the strp and de-grease & relube and shes all back together now.

need to clean the barrel as the guy gave me a tin of SMK spitfires with it but that can wait until morning. then get out on Saturday for a plink and hopefully its first kill in my hands

I've only just got a .22 97k and have to say, I love it! I intend to stop buying at 10 airguns, but have discounted the Rat Catcher and Relum Tornado, leaving me 5 to go!!

IF I get a 5th rifle it will either be

 

a .177 pcp for night time hunting to be mainly used if I get nightvision aswell (and more money saved up, and a permission that I would need it for)

 

or a .20 or .25 springer, as I have never had these calibres.

 

or a walnut tx200 left hander

 

actually this list of different things I haven't had/would want could go on forever hahaha!
