Guest joe ox
Tape them up using ecopore its the white tape doctors or nurses use to keep dressings/bandages in place. It works a treat and the dog wont even notice after a while. Edited September 14, 2007 by joe ox Quote Link to post
marko 30
will be sore for a bit i wouldnt worry too much its part and parcel also if you are worried about them ripping all the time a decent vet will remove them for -120 quid a fairly simple op that just requires a few stitches when finished. Bush Rummager 4,706
knocked up stoppers, my worst nightmare! my bitch had a genuinely accidental course on a long ear over red flint/ stone on an old pit tip that was frozen solid! Made a right old mess of both stoppers, had to the vet out on a sunday morning, waste of time. Take them off, leave them on, stitch them.... she didnt a have bloody clue, to the tune of over £3oo over a month or so! A well respected vet did mention that the stoppers should be left on as they protect the somthing or other in the wrist. they did eventually heal, albeit a a bit deformed, and yes, she has had probs with them scince, all i will add is wait until they look healed, then give them another 4 days or so because they are probabley still healing inside under the surface, dont rush it Paul, Quote Link to post
