I can take short range shots with the HMR, while if out round the farm with the .22, I'll often see a rabbit at HMR distances, which I don't have a chance of hitting. It depends on where you are shooting, open land HMR, enclosed with cover .22. If I chopped in my semi Magtech, I'd go bolt action CZ. Quote Link to post

Only had 3 issues 1- When the wax of the bullets combined with Rape Seed pollen created a nice yellow 'glue' in the magazines and bolt area 2- When I thought I could strip and clean the magazines.....not a great success, problem getting tension correct. 3- Needed scope rings re-secured one time when it started throwing bullets everywhere. Accounted for hundreds of rabbits, very few misses (apart from my own fault), and as has already been said, are quite capable at a distance if need be. 1 Quote Link to post
