mole catcher 1
woodman, try going out on a moonless night with no wind, it works. ok you have to slow down and take even more care with sound but a good black night is still worth a try. you have to think a bit more about the way you approach your drop but you will still get results Quote Link to post

Guest Magwitch
Hello woodman i noticed in one of your pictures you use Night vision. i should image it increases the bag considerably and saves on wasted drops. Quote Link to post

woodman 131
like the sound of the night vision thingy ,how much you pay and what make? good hunting rew yukon nv tracker by sibir or a d3mk,bought 2 d3mk,s and the nv tracker off soviet bazaar just before they went to the wall for £450 about 2-3 years ago.i keep the d3mk,s on my rifles and use the nv tracker for longnetting,i also bought the hth-211 pro infrared lazer thats on the above rifles(the dot can only be seen through night vision optics,so no red dot panning around to frighten quarry) and 2 100mw infrared illuminators(although i find a tracer atom lamp with infrared lens the best, hope this helps.all the best Edited September 13, 2007 by woodman Quote Link to post
