let'sshoot 11
I have a cz 527 in .223 - it is screw cut, was cut by previous owner. How do I go about finding out what thread cut it is? Thanks Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unified_Thread_Standard Get your slide rule and calipers out, there are a few above. A very common thread for many rifles is 1/2"UNF, but if it was cut it could be anything. Where did you get it from, ask the seller or dealer, they should know! Quote Link to post
Gooner 143
If you can't ask the seller get some thread gauges, or go ask a local engineering company and to check Quote Link to post
let'sshoot 11
I'll take it to my local gun shop probably and let him tell me what it is. Thanks for the replies. Quote Link to post
