Recommended Posts

Was out yesterday on council permission withme dad brother and the mutt. . Went nice and early to stay out the way of public . But obv caught some ones eye as when we were walking back to the car a police car pulled up bloke got out asked us what were doin . Told him rabbot control amd showed him all my council amd insurance papers . . He then asked what the involvment of the dog was . Which i thought was strange so just sed she was for marking the sets . Then he asked to see all the rabbits tht we had caught to look for signs of dog abuse on them . . . No marks he then said sorry to bother you Nd went ??? Wat was tht about . Why did he ask the involvment of the dog when its all perfectly legal . . The ground isnt hot Nd no other qaurry on there . . Wasnt bein stupid with the dog as most the time she is on the lead . . He sed theyd had to reports from the public but didnt say what we were supposed to have done . .

All my encounters with the police in recent years have all been positive ,,just a month or so ago,, we all meet up in a village and were having a chat befor moving on to the farm,,, when plod went fly

Because they haven't got a feckin clue or anything better to do . I wouldn't of been so polite

Tell them to fuk of and go catch some asian peodo ring instead of bothering descent lads after a few poxy bunnys.

I know this pip . . The Hunting Act 2004 Despite what many non-rabbiting people may think, the Hunting Act 2004 did not ban the use of dogs for hunting rabbits.

Part 1 (Offences) of the act states: 1 Hunting wild mammals with dogs A person commits an offence if he hunts a wild mammal with a dog, unless his hunting is exempt. 2 Exempt hunting (1) Hunting is exempt if it is within a class specified in Schedule 1. Schedule 1 (Exempt Hunting), section 4 clearly states: The hunting of rabbits is exempt if it takes place on land (a) which belongs to the hunter, or (B) which he has been given permission to use for the purpose by the occupier or, in the case of unoccupied land, by a person to whom it belongs.
