Anybody lamp with terriers other than rats?was out with the air rifle and lamp tonight and saw nothing got home and took the dog a walk took the lamp and saw two rabbits and a fox typical

i'v seen a plummer on a dvd lamping rabbits, and know of a block that run his terrier with his lurcher on fox's as his lurcher was to soft mouthed manly a ferreting dog

Tried it for a laugh before with a leggy fell we used to have.it was a quick terrier so thought it might have a chance at few easy ones.well she didn't look as fast behind a rabbit but had couple round cover.could be risky unless you know the ground well if you know what i mean

when me and my mates were yonger we were lamping mad, due to not being allowed the 12 bore one night we took 3 terriers and a sheepdog and the fun we had that night will never be forgotten

well im off out tonight still unsure wether im going to take the terrier or not and agree with westy my dad has a leggy stafford just now and hes had a few rabbits, unfortunatly my plummer doest work to well with other dogs

I'd love to give my patterdale a go,the problem is if I lost him and he came across another dog it would only have to look at him funny for him to try and kill it.

 

Shame because he's very obedient, doesn't go to ground and isn't much slower than some lurchers I've seen.

I'd love to give my patterdale a go,the problem is if I lost him and he came across another dog it would only have to look at him funny for him to try and kill it.

 

Shame because he's very obedient, doesn't go to ground and isn't much slower than some lurchers I've seen.

So your dog will fight another dog at the drop of a hat and won't go to ground and can run fast sounds a cracker ? !
