I use blankets quilts ect pups after tearing it all up now fluff everywhere lol what u fellas use they got there coats on so warm at nights just could do with some bedding ideas. Tar lads

straw is good but the dust can get into some dogs eyes and make the cloudy!happened to my bitch so i just use blankets now..

Thats the only thing i find bad about it, its gets all over the garden and sticks to slabs ect... For ever cleaning up the place, other than that, it good stuff and keeps the dogs warm.

Just started using the shredded wax paper this past month ...dogs seem to like it. Heat lamp when needed .

Its real messy stuff, makes the garden look like the night after glastonburry festival.. ..even when cleaned up, after a day or 2, its back to squar 1...worse if you have a pup or 2 about the place, night mare then...!

mine come out most mornings with paper stuck to their gums from where they have been drooling in their sleep, i have invested in an incinerator and burn the stuff along with the bedding when i change it.

Likewise, its a pain, only good thing about it is that it keeps them real dry and warm. It does not got to mush like ordinary shredded paper, if the dogs are damp and lie on it.

I think changing it regular helps to keep up its effect as well..

Likewise, its a pain, only good thing about it is that it keeps them real dry and warm. It does not got to mush like ordinary shredded paper, if the dogs are damp and lie on it.

its very good stuff, you get few pieces come off, but the wax in it hold it alot better than like you say norm paper . it keeps the dogs warm+dry its the best i think

I had used straw for years..

 

Switched to shredded waxed paper and its decent stuff..

 

Don't break down like straw & no dust - mites..

 

Stays in my kennel. It dose not get dragged about, into my garden.

 

Got a lip at the kennel door, keeps stuff in and less draft

i have hessian sacks covering the holes but it finds its way out
