andy97 209
its not a bad price mate tbh but the rifle is abit twangy all you have to do is take apart polish and relube also set the trigger to your likeness personally wouldn't bother paying and waiting for a tune I wanted to try the sfs s2 tuned rifle they were ok but still swapped it for an ultra Edited November 16, 2013 by andy97 Quote Link to post
hugo1 31
I have the same but in 177 untuned and love it to bits the twang doesn't bother me at all Quote Link to post
villaman 9,982
Its a ok type of price but .22 seems to be less twangy than .177 ,as for scope one of the hawke sport 3-9-50http://www.deben.com/hawke-sport-hd-riflescopes/hawke-sport-hd-3-9x50-ao-mil-dot.html or panorama http://www.deben.com/hawke-panorama-ev-riflescopes.html Quote Link to post
hugo1 31
Got the hawke sporter hd 3-9-50 on my one and they work well together Quote Link to post

Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
my hw77k (almost same gun) twangs like a banjo, but its still a great rifle out of the box, just harder to shoot than a tuned gun. keeps up with my tuned hw98 for accuracy and power anyway! im about to start a thread in the airgun hunting section after I had it out for a few hours this afternoon with good results. take a look mate. il put the link on here aswell. £250 seems fair aswell, I had one before in .177 and it was a great rifle. I have had these variants of the hw97k.. sporter stock thumbhole beech stock thumbhole synthetic stock and they are all as good as eachother, its what you prefer best. Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
here ya go mate.out of the box hw77k not tuned and twangy, but still accurate http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/306712-hw77k-strikes-again/ Quote Link to post
pappabear 128
thanks skot , will have a look Quote Link to post

thursodog 353
A not twangy Steve pope V-Glide video of my .177 97KT synthetic on my phone but unfortunately I can't get pics and vids downloaded these days. My .177 has no twang and is super smooth to shoot. Was accurate out of the box but twangy till I bought he V-glide and tuned my trigger. Chris. Quote Link to post
