Astanley 11,582 Posted November 15, 2013 Report Share Posted November 15, 2013 Astanley as I'd said in my first reply I was wondering if there was a different thought process for different types of working dogs, but maybe what you see as a messer is someone who's worried of doing the wrong thing which could ruin years of effort and would rather take 2 minutes to ask on a forum filled with experienced hunters to try work out which action is best before they make the decision. Anyways thanks for your input and good luck to you and your countryside endeavours. Qbgrey 4,171 Posted November 15, 2013 Report Share Posted November 15, 2013 Qbgrey what a load of shite you talk, shouldnt own a dog for not having kennel, run, geez come on its all about what the dog does in the field not who has the biggest wallet and space, it would be nice to have the setup but dosnt stop lurchers catching or does it????? weres it say you should nt own a dog if u aint got a kennel?what im said is IF a dog is outside it should have a decent kennel,not millions of pounds is it.i mean ive seen dogs outside in the snow more or less in a 5mm ply square box,is this acceptable along as your catches.ill tell ya mate a dog will still catch if treated like shit,kicked,not fed proper grub,etc,you carry on mate .i treat me dogs how i see fit.
