tsteve9999 456
It struck me this morning that there would be a hell of a lot more food and water for the poor sods over there if all the f**kin reporters and aid people got the hell away from the place. There must be thousands over there that don't need to be and I bet none of them are hard up for a drink or a decent meal.

The bit I have seen on the news just is reporting lorrys full of food etc & there just sat there waiting for someone to organise the food being distributed ... seems its a basic lack of organisation... it must be frustrating for the people who are there to help distribute the aid ... one thing i did notice was people were calmly waiting to be given aid Very sad to watch
Born Hunter 17,820
The US Navy and Royal Navy are on the way with heli/aircraft carriers and sailors. Shit will get sorted then!
Born Hunter 17,820
I don't mean to sound like a c**t, but it's interesting to see the UK has contributed the most in direct financial relief, as well as sending huge Naval assets over there.....

I thought it took the piss a bit really......tone it down....you're not at the fu*king oscars..
paulus 26
every news report is been pissing it down, how is it possible to be short of water no food but the roads are clear and full of motorbikes and cars, obviously petrol is easy to find but not food The roofs that were blown of were mainly corrugated tin affairs why don't they put them back on maybe its just me but it all seems strange when compared to the asian tsunami maybe its just how the reports show things,

ChrisJones 7,975
It's easy to criticize when we're 10,000, or whatever it is, miles away. 24/7 Internet access and central heating... I hope that the earlier estimates, of casualties, don't come to pass. They're people just trying to make their way through life. Like the rest of us.
