A brief insight into the effects of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy

During the 20th Century, electromagnetic fields generated by passing a low power current through copper coils has become an effective form of therapy. Since the 1950's, pulsed magnetic fields have been acknowledged as an aid to healing bone, osseous, ligamental, cartilaginous, or nervous reparation, diabetes, open wounds and myocardial or cerebral ischemia in humans and animals alike.

The use of Pulsed Electromagnetic therapy has become popular as a safe, simple, non-sensational, non-invasive form of physiotherapy. Pulsed magnetic fields have been recognised as a very effective form of therapy in both animals and humans.
In excess of 300 results of other medical trials and studies may be found on the websitehttp://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/ Simply type PEMF into the query box to find them. Be prepared to be surprised by the plethora of conditions that Pulsed Electro MagneticFields have been successful in treating.
