charlie caller 3,654
If you take a rifle then your suppose to inform the police but its a ball ache! You'll be in the phone for a while. They want all your details, you gun details, the car details, the land details, who's going with you and then you've got to call them when you get home!! No you are not there is no requirement in law to do so. 2 Quote Link to post

Suzy Ross 236
I've never told the police f**k all but I have left a few notes on windscreens of guys cars I've seen parked out poaching, to report to the police station Serious? Serious about what, not telling the police or the notes? Yes to both. The notes was when I was younger, we all done it, can't see us being the inventor of that one. Only done it to guys vans we knew, mates etc, all preban times roughly early 90's wee note under window wiper saying something like.... could the owner of this van 'John smith' report to ******* police station to discuss with Sargent ******* regarding your poaching activities. I can't mind it ever working but it gave you a cold shiver when you got it we done them with the farmers name as well to report to the farm. Surely others done this? I'm talking daylight poaching. Nothing worse when you've travelled to a bit and some c**t you knows already there, wee note was obvious to us lol. Quote Link to post
