THE STIFFMEISTER 16,116
I am genuinely always amazed that David gemmells books have never been adapted into film, his principal character druss is crying out for Tom hardy to play him at the moment, the backstory of his own fight against cancer and the race against time to finish his first novel legend, is awe inspiring , his body symbolising the fortress, the nadir hoard playing the role of the cancer and druss ( read drugs) his final hope of survival, gemmell survived and become IMHO the greatest writer no one had heard of, I've cried, I've laughed out loud, I've lost days but most of all he showed me ways that have shaped my outlook at life, I've genuinely thought at times what would druss do? It's laughable but he's infectious and one book of his is never enough, get into gemmell, you'll never regret it
Born Hunter 17,788
I'm not really into fiction but that's one hell of a compliment Stiffmeister. Is there any in particular to start with?
